Levenwick is a small Village approx. 17 miles south of Lerwick, on the east side of the South Mainland of Shetland and 8 miles north of Sumburgh Head. It is part of the Parish of Dunrossness and the Levenwick Health Central provides medical support for the Dunrossness area.
There is also a Levenwick Campsite and Community Hall which is open from May-September.
Levenwick Bay with beach, headland walk and rock pools are a 15 minute stroll from the Campsite.
Local walks around Levenwick include broch remains, sandy beach, hills, cliffs, farmland, Lochs, marsh and moor surrounding with various wildlife.
Sunday Teas are also held throughout the year in the Community Hall.
